Hydra is one from the beautiful islands of Argosaronikos and constitutes one from the most frequent destinations for Greek and foreigner tourists. It is amphitheatrically built round the harbour and in the entry of its harbour we meet, with our arrival, Promachones with the canons that protected Hydra.
Its stone mansions, its narrow paved with flagstones and picturesque streets lead to beautiful localities of the island and really charm the visitor. Visit the full of pines region of the Abbey of Agia Fotini, Kala Pigadia, the Abbey of Prophet Elias, the Abbey of Saint Efpraxia and the Cathedral Temple of Hydra. See closely the Mansion of Kountuyrioti, Periptero, Spilia, Mills, Avraki and Kamini and swim in its amazing beaches. Particular interest in Hydra constitutes the fact that the locomotions become only with donkeys, fact that makes him still more picturesque.
