The prefecture of Western Attica includes in the Eastern
part the Municipalities Ano Liosia, Zefyri and Phyli, in the south-western
department the Municipalities of Palaces and New Peramos and north-westernly the
Municipalities of Erithrai, Vilia and the Community Oinoe. In her center is
found the Triasio Field that includes the Municipalities of Eleusis,
Aspropyrgos, Mandra as well as the Community of Magoula.
In her impressive geographic bas-relief dominate the historical Kithaironas, Geraneia, the mountain Patera, Pastra and Parnitha that with the incomparable flora and their fauna offer endless possibilities of education and recreation. Clean beaches in Saronikos and in the gulf of Alkyonides, constitute beautiful destinations for swimming and recreation. Monuments of important history are found in all the extent. Big religious, historical and folklore interest present a lot of temples and the monasteries that are found scattered in the all territory of Western Attica.

Visit Megara and Elefsina and admire the monuments of ancient Greek culture that are found there.

Enjoy the unique view of region “Thriasio Field” from the small church of Prophet Ilia in the hill of the region Magoula.
