Milos is the fifth in size island of Cyclades and is found
in the S.W. department of the prefecture. Its distance from Piraeus is 86 naval
miles and from Crete 105 naval miles. From the special characteristics of Milos
is its natural harbour that is considered one of the biggest and most secure
Mediterranean. The population of Milos lives in the north-eastern part of the
island and concretely in 8 villages.
