Tinos is the third in size island of Cyclades afterwards Andros and Naxos. It
belongs in northern Cyclades and is world known as holy island of Magalochari.
Its capital is Tinos (or Chora).
Tinos has mountainous ground and it is, in general, a dry island with ground that has suffered to large extent erosion. Exception constitute the very little flat extents of Tinos that moreover present a remarkable carrying water horizon. In its central department dominates the historical steep rock Exomvourgo with height of 641 m. Beautiful beaches and sites give to the visitor a splendid stay.
