Kasos is found in the most southern utmost of Eastern
Aegean, between Crete and Karpathos. It is mountainous and rocky, with few
cultivable extents. In the mountains of the island meet no one rare frowers and
birds. It has mild and healthy climate. Clumps of rocky islands and rocks are
found round this. It has an ancientest history.
However we approach it by plane or by boat, it strikes wild and inhospitable. From the sea emerges a grey, abrupt, of stone landscape. However the first wild impression of the mountains of Kasos, recedes when they begin to appear the first houses. Then Kasos becomes little by little a hospitable, many embrace.
The white houses with the courtyards and the local flowers are mixed with the old, mansions, samples of the passed, rich times, while in the settlements the houses are white and the alleys are paved with flagstones and give to Kasos a particular beauty.
