The central region of Evia, that surrounds the Eubean capital, Charkida, is constituted except from the Municipality Chalkida, from the Municipalities N. Artaki, Lilantia, Avlida and Anthidona. The two last ones are in the opposite side of Central Greece, at Evripos. The region of the Eubean center is characterized by the brilliant historical presence of certain from the most important cities of the greek antiquity.
