The city of Argostoli
Argostoli is the capital city of the prefecture of Kefalonia of the beautiful island of Kefalonia. The city was founded in 1757 but has been inhabited since ancient times. In 1810 Kefalonia like other Ionian islands declined to English occupation and the commander of the island De Boset was the creator of the bridge in Argostoli, about 1 km which connected Argostoli with the opposite side of the bay of Argostoli.
The city of Zakynthos
The city of Zakynthos is built amphitheatrically at the foot of the hill of Bochali and she is the capital city of the island Zakynthos. The 1953 earthquake destroyed the old town with its magnificent buildings, leaving only some of them that today with their arches and arched windows show the old traditional character of the city.
