The island of fabulous king Lykomidis, having an ancient past equally with
Evia, is related to all the big heroes of our mythology. Here hid Thetida her
invulnerable son, Achilles. From here came the father of Aigeas and here found
the death Thiseas, throwen down by Lykomidis in the sharp rocks of Skyros.
